Supplied with swivel bracket and includes flushmounting hardware
The CP180 issupplied with a swivel mount bracket that allows the Chart Plotter rotated 360degrees (left or right) for optimal viewing. For custom installations the CP180is supplied with all the hardware to flush mount the Chart plotter in and areayou choose. To make installation even simpler Standard Horizon supplies a cutout template sticker to that allows you to find the ideal location and guidesyou where to make the cuts for that custom installation.
WAAS (Wide Area Augumentation System)
A 12-channelWAAS receiver is the heart of the CP180. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatableaccuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position without theadditional expense of a Differential receiver. The WAAS system currently coversthe United States,Canada, Mexicoand parts of northern South America. Additionally, theCP180 is EGNOS and MSAS ready which will extend superior receiver performanceto the United Kingdomand European Continent.
VHF Digital Selective Calling and Position Polling
The CP180 GPS Chart Plotter has the capability to beconnected to STANDARD HORIZON VHF Fixed mounted radios with DSC pollingcapability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the CP180 and theVHF. Connecting the products together allow you to securely and totallyprivately poll and display another vessels position on the display of theCP180. To take this one step further, the CP180 has a DSC Call directory thatlogs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel thathas transmitted a DSC Distress call. STANDARD HORIZON pioneered this function,leading the industry with innovative features and function.

Using a GPSChart Plotter has never been so easy! The CP180 has dedicated MARK and ROUTEkeys that allows the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route righton the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or to a Route, the GOTOkey allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when thekey is pressed.
