The CX 34 NavStation is a flexible navigation system allowing you to fit the exact applications and functions appropriate for your boat.
NavStation is a fully loaded GPS chartplotter using enhanced C-Map MAX cartography. To this can be added the new Simrad radar scanner with multiVision technology and one of the most advanced echo sounders available to the leisure boating market. The complete NavStation provides a comprehensive navigation center with the very latest technology developed by Simrad.
NavStationis a fully equipped GPS and chartplotter, capable of interconnecting with SimNet, which provides the ability of sharing vital information with other connected instruments. No matter how harsh conditions are, sharp screens, fast update and sharing of information provide the full picture.
Navigation Features:
SunView bonded display - optimum readibility and no condensation
New High speed multiVision scanners
SimNet control, one singel cable
Distress data from dVHF (iDSC)
Radar and chart synchronized overlay
Grounding alarm
Tidal current prediction
Customized for the future
The system can be built step by step, or supplied in whatever configuration is required. When adding the echo sounder module, a number of transducer options are available to tailor the system to your needs, whether it is for fish finding, accurate depth measurement, or both.
50 years of experience in commercial fishing technology gives Simrad's NavStation a distinct edge over other echo sounder systems for leisure boats. Additionally, the radar function is already built-in, so all that is required to have a highly advanced radar system, is to add the new aerodynamic radome scanner.
Flexible dual stations
Instant duplication of functions
Complete control from the dual station
High Speed Data bus transfer of all data and commands
Sharing of chart data and realtime position
7" Dual Station screens
Synchronized radar and chart
Simrad NavStation includes radar function as standard and just needs to be connected to one of Simrad's new generation scanners to provide a host of features for a safer and more relaxed voyage in all weatherconditions, day or night. The NavStation has been designed for easy and logical operation throughout and the radar function is no exception.
The sophisticated multiVision technology enable a simultaneous view of both a close range radar image and long range overview in two windows on thesame screen - providing the full picture, even in poor visibility.
Enhanced chart system for total navigation
The award winning C-MAP NT electronic charts now have revolutionary enhancements within the MAX system. Precise and detailed vector charts enable window pop-ups with information on ports, navigation marks, lights, buoys, depth contours and more. Details can be turned on or off to suit the navigator's needs at any time. The MAX C-cards are inserted into a splash proof drawer at the front of the NavStation.
Greater accuracy with DGPS
SDGPS- Satellite Differential GPS uses signals from WAAS (US) or EGNOS (EU)to provide long range improvement of position accuracy. When a coastal DGPS beacon is within range the built-in differential receiver willautomatically lock onto the strongest beacons to proved an accuracy of1-5 meters.
The Simrad GPS-5 antenna is designed for optimal reception of signals. It can be flush mounted, fixed on a bracket or mounted on a pole.
Faster radar update and improved target definition
Asthe boat speed increases the rate of update increases, ensuring safety at all times. The new transmitter design improves the ability to separate objects and provide a much clearer display that is easier to see and use. Moving vessels are easily separated from fixed objects when using the trail function.
