Garmin eTrex Vista Handheld GPS

The eTrex Vista combines a basemap of North and South America, with abarometric altimeter and electronic compass. Thecompass provides bearinginformation while you're standing still and thealtimeter determines yourprecise altitude. The Vista is also designed toprovide precise GPS positioningusing correction data obtained from the Wide AreaAugmentation System (WAAS).This product will provide position accuracy toless than three meters whenreceiving WAAS corrections.

The eTrex Vista also boasts an internal memorycapacity of 24 megabytes, whichallows it to accept downloaded mapping data fromGarmin's MapSource CD-ROMs,including Fishing Hot Spots. A silver case givesthis unit a high-tech look. Newto the product design, Garmin will include marineaids to navigation in additionto the basemap. These navigational aids will bepre-loaded into each unit fromthe factory.
