The GPSMAP 60CSx is a refreshing upgrade ofthe GPSMAP 60CS, one of our mostpopular models for outdoor and marine use. Thisunit features a removablemicroSD card for detailed mapping memory and awaterproof, rugged housing. ThemicroSD card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment. Userscan load map data and transfer routes andwaypoints through the unit's fast USBconnection.

In addition, this unit features a new, highlysensitive GPS receiver thatacquires satellites faster and lets users tracktheir location in challengingconditions, such as heavy foliage or deep canyons. The GPSMAP 60CSx alsoincorporates a barometric altimeter for extremelyaccurate elevation data and anelectronic compass that displays an accurateheading while standing still.

Considered the mainstay among serious outdoorenthusiasts, the GPSMAP 60CSx offers a large color TFT displayand turn-by-turn routingcapability. It comes with a blank 64 MBmicroSD card.
